Meet Carisa Peeples, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Carisa Peeples, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of healthcare experience. She specializes in medical weight management, metabolic health, and integrative wellness, providing personalized telehealth care designed to support long-term health and sustainable results. 

Her practice focuses on individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that may include prescription GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, along with select peptide and wellness therapies tailored to each patient’s needs. Prescriptions may be sent to a patient’s preferred local pharmacy or fulfilled through licensed pharmacies, including compounded medications when appropriate. All care includes ongoing monitoring and clinical oversight to ensure safety and effectiveness.

In addition to weight management and wellness services, select prescription-based care may be provided when clinically appropriate. What sets Carisa apart is her direct, provider-led model of care. Patients work one-on-one with her, not on a large corporate platform, receiving personalized guidance, clear education, and ongoing support throughout their treatment.  Her goal is to help patients improve overall health, increase energy, and achieve sustainable results through safe, medically guided care.
